THREADED BORE FLAP WHEELS
Athena Abrasives produces flap wheels suitable for working on any type of surface, whether flat, concave, or convex, in any material. Athena Abrasives' non-woven abrasive flap wheels have found many practical and economical applications in surface finishing. The radial arrangement of their non-woven flaps, made of aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, or other types of abrasive, allows them to perfectly adapt to the contours of the entire workpiece.
THREADED BORE FLAP WHEELS (FL)
Consisting of non-woven abrasive flaps arranged radially around a fiber or other material core, they are used on stationary automatic or semi-automatic machines. Particularly suitable for satin finishing and dulling metals, they are also used in the ceramic and woodworking industries.
Interleaved Threaded Bore Flap Wheels (FLT)
Unlike flap wheels with holes, these wheels consist of abrasive cloth flaps alternating with non-woven abrasive cloth flaps. The presence of the cloth makes the mixed cloth-fabric flap wheels with holes more aggressive than the previous ones and better suited to removing more pronounced marks.
