RADIAL DISCS

Athena Abrasives produces flap wheels suitable for working on any type of surface, whether flat, concave, or convex, in any material. Athena Abrasives' non-woven abrasive flap wheels have found many practical and economical applications in surface finishing. The radial arrangement of their non-woven flaps, made of aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, or other types of abrasive, allows them to perfectly adapt to the contours of the entire workpiece.

RADIAL DISCS (MRD)

Non-woven "mini radial discs" are used on angle grinders with speed control. After removing the weld seam with the flap disc, we can use the mini radial disc to remove any scratches left by the disc.
It can also be used for more general purposes such as cleaning or grinding ferrous and non-ferrous steels, removing burrs from plastic pieces and even antiquing marble if the silicon carbide variants are used.
The mini radial discs are available in the STANDARD-LINE (h 20mm) and HIGH-LINE (h 30mm) versions for those who want longer tool life.

CP-3M Radial Discs (MRD CP-3M)

CP-3M wheels, which are more wear-resistant, are used to achieve a consistent finish. They are particularly effective at removing imperfections such as scratches and burrs and providing a uniform finish to the workpiece.

Mixed Cloth-Fabric Radial Discs (MRDT)

Unlike the "mini radial discs," they are composed of abrasive cloth flaps alternating with non-woven fabric flaps. The presence of the cloth makes this product more aggressive than the previous one. The mixed-cloth mini radial discs are also available in the STANDARD-LINE (20mm h) and HIGH-LINE (30mm h) versions.
